Sooooo…

I saw Jack Johnson recently. On top of that, I got to meet him! He is sooo sweet, and really handsome in real life! And can I say, his voice is just as good– if not better– in real life compared to the radio/cd. I have a deeper respect for him and I’m not ashamed to say it!!!!

As I was in line by the stairs to the stadium, I saw a marine or navy guy crack his head open! I was standing there, in line to buy a beer ($12 Coors, wtf?!?!?), and I hear a loud thud. My friends and I turn around, we see a guy face first on the concrete stairs with his eyes rolled back. He was in shock. I’m sure he broke his nose. In his probably drunken stupor, he stands up, and blood gushes everywhere. We just stood there. My no. 1 fear is blood!!!!! Totally freaked me out!!! At least he got up though!! I’ve seen 1 person die in my life, in a tragic hit and run. It is really upsetting!!! I was talking about this with a friend and she’s a nurse and says that dying is peaceful to her… ummm maybe when someone dies in their sleep not bloody on a sidewalk at 2am?

Anyway, after the traumatic experience (which was probably worse for the military kid), I saw Jack’s amazing 2 hour set!!!

If you get the chance to see him, go! And if you’re a guy, tell all your buddies that a girl made you go
