This weekend was fun. I went up North of Toronto to a cottage on the Georgian Bay, Lake Huron with a bunch of World of Warcraft buddies. I arrived late around 9pm because traffic getting out of Toronto was insane. Even on the damn 407! But at least I made it. Once everyone made it, we had a camp fire on the beach sipping a few drinks. Around 2:30am we heard some scary noises coming from around the shore. It sounded like a combination of a woman screaming or almost like a bark. We had no idea if it was human or animal. So a couple of my friends paddled across the lake to check out the noise. The thing went away. I guess it was an animal? I don’t think we’ll ever know. Creepy as fuck!
The next day I chilled by the lake. My friend caught a 10 pound bowfin. We had no idea what it was until I googled it from my iPhone and discovered what it was called. Also known as dogfish. I thought it was so cute so we let it go. I had fun playing with a BB gun but I wasn’t very good and couldn’t really hit the targets. But I was close! :p
I love being in the woods in a cottage by a lake. It’s the most relaxing thing ever! Nothing matters there except relaxing more.
