im a terrible person. i missed my grandmas birthday today, because i overslept. i need to get my priorities straight. i just called her and wished her a happy birthday. i love how understanding my family is…i just wish they would kick my ass sometimes too.
i picked up a shift at my part time job yesterday. the humane society was there showing off dogs they had for adoption. it broke my heart. i went around to every dog and got to know them. thankfully they don’t put the dogs down at this shelter…they keep the dogs for as long as it takes to get adopted, but that means the dogs (and other animals) have to live in a tiny cage for a lot longer. i wanted to take one home with me so bad. i got some information on adopting. and looked on the website when i got home. i saw that they are hiring. i don’t know if it pays, or its just volunteer, but im going to look into in a few days when i get a chance to stop out. i want to help. and if i can’t have a dog of my own right now, i’d still like to make a difference. every dog that my family has had has been a rescue from the humane society. i called my mom yesterday and told her how much i would like a dog again…i’ve been talking about this for a long time. and she said exactly what i thought she would say…you can’t even take care of yourself, how will you take care of a dog? haha, well i know shes right…then she proceeded to say she would cut me off and not let me move back home if i lost my apartment, if i brought a dog home. haha. o mom. this is just more motivation for me to find a job where i can support myself, and a puppy!
i do have a job interview tomorrow. fingers crossed. i guess it helps working in a mall, where most of the other employees from other stores get to know you too. i just walked in and asked for an interview. win. i’ve been applying like crazy the past few days. im gonna go to this hiring event on tuesday too. i hope something comes out of all this. i need it to.

Tim Burton movies & Alice by Alicia_Li
I am so excited for Alice in Wonderland, it’s getting ridiculous! Lol, I am such a big fan of Tim Burton’s movies, Edward Scissorhands is still one of my favorites of all time, and I have about 3 different copies of “The Melancholy Death of Oysterboy”- the book that he did a few years back.
I just can’t wait for the Alice movie!

GO Canada by Kyra
Who else is soo excited for the game today??? My prediction is 4-3 with of course Canada taking the gold. I do think it will be a tough game but I have all the confidence in my home team. In case anyone missed it Canada also took more gold medals than any other country this year!!

ok, so they are safe in the car…. but REALLY… they can be so VERY annoying. I was at the mall today & thought this lady was talking to me. I was friendly and tried to reply – but she was chatting away at FULL volume on her bluetooth. Ever heard of your “inside voice?!” haha Although cell phones are a necessary evil, why are some people are just rude and constantly on them in public? I don’t really want to hear 1/2 of their conversation. But I guess public texting annoys me almost as much. Ever been talking to someone in-person & they are just answering with “uh-huh…. yea… uh-huh” – all the while, they are having a full-blown conversation with someone else via text? GRRRRRR – Had to blow-off some techno cellular steam here. Just kidding… Hope ya’ll have a great weekend!

Hey guys!
Life gets more and more busy as time goes by. The work at school is very intense as I started neuromuscular therapy a couple of days ago. I’ve been swamped with homework every night and it leaves me barely any time to cam! I feel so bad. I really miss camming with my friends here!
Can you believe we had snow here in the south? It’s already going on March and yet we are supposed to get another arctic blast through here. I think Miami is calling me. At least it stays warm there.

My bedroom is in need of dire repair. I haven’t had much of a “bedroom” set since I was a little girl. Now I am looking to get all new stuff, and I am excited as crap! I can’t wait to show you all my finished bedroom is the sexiest of ways.

Hey everyone! I haven’t blogged in a while, cause I’ve been busy apartment hunting. I finally found the perfect one, I’m so excited! I’ll be moving in March, so I better start packing soon.
I’ve been buying tons of stuff to make my new place feel like home, from new sheets to a vacuum to new dishes. I’m sure I’m missing a few things, but there’s a Target right down the road, so I can pick up whatever I forget easily enough. I’m especially having fun picking out new furniture. I’ll be headed to Ikea this weekend to pick it up. I can’t wait!

So, I’ve only been gone for 1.5 weeks, but it feels like forever!!
Last week I was on vacation and went to Las Vegas. It was my second time there, and if possible, even better than the first! I had so much fun! I also got a chance to see some friends that I have not seen for a year or more so it was great to hang out with them and shop just a lil bit!
However, as soon as I got back, I got sick right away?! I don’t know if it was something I picked up on vacation or what, but it totally brought me back down to earth when I got home! I’m feeling a lot better today though, so should be online later. I’ve really missed camming!! Hope to see you there!

Make me some chicken! by Femme
Ahoy mateys. T-minus 6 days until I move into my new apartment and finally get my two little kitties back! I miss them so much I’m dreaming of them. I hope they aren’t too traumatized from staying with my crazy Aunt and her senile fat cat. Since I’m moving I recently bought a new comforter and sheet set. I washed the comforter last night (new sheets usually have that nasty manufacturing smell, yuk) and it ripped in the wash! I’m not talking about a little tear. I’m talking about a full-on 12 inch jagged rip along the FRONT of the comforter where the design is… So much for quality. The good news is I have another chance to find a better quality comforter and I think I found it. Thank you Target!
Anyone a fan of sushi? I went out for dinner with the family last night and had a great sushi dinner. My favorite is the salmon sashimi. Just slabs of raw salmon for me please… mmmm! We got one of those large wooden boats full of sushi, which was fun. But that proved to be hazardous when I was passing a piece of tuna sushi to the person on my left and it lunged into my water glass. I swear this thing was still alive!

I moved! by Savanna
Finally! Now I can really get my ass in gear. I started tanning (I’m actually a little burnt from not tanning for such a long time) and I started at the gym, I am so excited. I am back to 100% happy ole me again. I’m going to start working a lot of days now too, since I am on a completely different schedule. So I hope to get to meet a lot more members with my new work hours!
