LOL what a lame-o title but whetever it fits the content of this here blog. I’ve been starting to run lately. Since last week, I’ve been running for 30 minutes every other day. The day after my first run I could barely walk out of bed to use the bathroom and walking down stairs felt like torture….now THATS when I knew I’d gotten a decent run in 😀 Keep in mind that I had not ran since I was 15 (and that was only because I had PE class in high school) so yeah, seven years of being pretty stagnate doesn’t do the body good.
I’ve been running lately because my immune system isn’t as strong as it used to be and not to mention, I’m getting older and I need to start taking care of myself. People who are physically active on a regular basis tend to be healthier than those who lay around the house all day. And just because I’m slender does not mean I’m healthy or in shape because, judging from my super-sore quadriceps, lower abdomen and even my neck (!) after my first run – I’m not in good shape at all! I’m also in a much better mood after my runs…it’s those endorphins working 😉
For the summer semester I’m taking two classes; Spanish and tennis. So I’ll be able to work my mind and body. The more physical activities I do, the more I wanna do 🙂
Anyway, today I ran, ate some pho and then cleaned my apartment. Enjoy the rest of your weekend, everybody! 🙂
