Ok, not really. Actually I suck at blog titles. It’s Monday morning and I’m sitting here eating cereal & waiting for my friend to come and pick me up. I’m going to accompany her to a college across town so she can take care of some tuition/residency business. I have a fascination with college campuses other than my own so while she’s taking care of that, I’ll just wonder around and look at the school =D
Last Thursday night, I was walking to my car from class and some asshole in a white Corolla almost ran me over! I was walking across the street (it was 9:30pm, dim and quite foggy) and Asshole was making a left turn and obviously didn’t see me until his car was about 2-3 feet from my body. I could have jumped out the way but my reflexes were slow (lol) and luckily, he did stop. I screamed, “what the fuck!??!?” and continued walking across the street. The Thursday before that one I locked my car keys in my car so I had to contact campus police to open my door. I’ve been having bad luck concerning my car & Thursday evening class. We got our midterms back and I got an 85. Sigh. I didn’t do so well on the essay portion of the exam so I should work on my academic writing. Our next midterm is all essay instead of half-scantron, half-essay like the previous one. This is my philosophy class btw.
I took a test for child development last week and got a perfect score. This was my 3rd test for that class and I’d been shooting for 100 =D so I was happy about that.
Today I start a short term class: Physiological Psychology. It’s only 8 weeks instead of 16 so I’m gonna have this class Mondays & Wednesdays for 3 hours each session. I have a feeling that this class will be challenging but I view these “hard” classes as a battle: beat them! If I have to stay up until 2-3am to get an A on the exams, then so be it.
Anyway, I’m gonna go now & I hope you all have a wonderful week.
btw…I almost forgot. My birthday is on Wednesday (the 25th). I’ll have school but I’ll most likely celebrate on the weekend.
