Is now!!! I literally soak in everything and anything festive and bright. How can you not be cheery walking down the street with all the lights, decorations and displays. Ahhh I love Christmas!! It really does feel like that time of the year for me when I hear the Salvation Army bells ringing for donations outside all the stores and on the streets. I’ve just always loved walking out of a store and hearing those bells and of course, seeing people stp and give donations. It’s just nice to see that in this materialstic world we live in now where Christmas is so commercialized and the economy has gone to crap, that some people will still give a dollar or two, even if they have just spent hundreds on Christmas gifts.
I’m excited to start my Christmas baking this week. Of course there will be sugar cookies, my own home-made chocolate turtles and rum balls, but I want to try something new this year. Let me know if you have a suggestion and I’ll bake it and then post the pics!!!! I’m bad though and eat half the batter before it’s even in the oven. I baked chocolate chip cookies last week and I truthfully enjoy the taste of the batter more than the actual cookie. Same with banana bread, I have to have some of that batter!!! Oh and I’ve never made corn bread or biscuits before so I am going to do that also very soon. I go to this recipe website and save all my recipes in my little online recipe box then print the page out and put it in my cook book that I made myself.
So anyways I just wanna wish everyone a very happy, safe and wonderful Merry Christmas.
Lots of love,
