*Sigh* I used to go all out on Halloween. It was my favorite holiday by far. I’ve always looked forward to the costumes, cheesy decorations, the distasteful horror films, and haunted houses that used to make me laugh until I nearly peed my panties. I guess since my Grandfather passed, it hasn’t been the same. Mostly because he died October 19th of last year, but also because Halloween is his day of birth.
As I’ve grown older I’ve realized that the supernatural doesn’t compare to the real life horrors that some of us must face. Being scared no longer amuses me, and I don’t find anything more terrifying than losing a loved one. Bah! That’s depressing.
This year I’ll be spending Halloween night with my Grandmother. I don’t want her to be alone. Maybe I can convince my Grandma, Mom, and Sister to dress up. 😛 Might be a fun distraction and a good tradition.
I have so much going on this month. Lots of new projects are beginning for me. I’ve been so happy lately. 🙂 Lots of stress, but many positive changes along with it. Unfortunately, I’m a private person. So maybe I’ll share more later.
In case you missed my member chat, here’s a pic of what I wore. Check out the archive. 😀
